PC Gamer's page, bylined and carrying an update log, says there are no current active codes and files RIA2026 under expired. UrGameTips reaches the same conclusion and explains its reasoning: recent lists disagree with each other, so it holds the old entries back until a redemption can be verified. Insider Gaming also reports zero active codes, though its body copy is dated 1 May 2026 while its headline advertises September, so treat its conclusion as supporting evidence and its detail as stale.
One outlet, Pocket Tactics, still lists RIA2026 as active. Its own expired table on the same page contains RIA202, a truncated copy of that exact code, alongside an entry no other source carries. A list that prints the same code twice in two different states, one of them mangled, is not a second confirmation of anything. That is one page against four, including the wiki that the game's own community maintains and edits daily. Stated once, and that is all the space it needs.
How to redeem a code when one appears
The path is confirmed by three independent guides and matches the screenshot on the official wiki's Codes page.
- Launch the game and complete the creature creation flow or tutorial once. The redemption entry point is not available before you have done this. PC Gamer states the requirement, and a second wiki repeats it for anyone whose normal menu has not appeared yet.
- Use the red door to return to the main menu.

The pattern is blunt: codes here are cosmetics, small token grants and a little currency. Not one expired code granted a creature outright. The closest any of them came is WELCOMETORECODE with five Random Trial Creature Tokens, which is a roll rather than a specific animal. Every one of the 481 released creatures in the game's stat table, at the 4 September 2026 revision, is obtained through events, missions, shops, gacha or Robux instead. The largest single Shooms payout on the expired list is 250. For scale, the highest stored price in the same stat table is 4,800 Shooms, so no historical code has come close to funding a top-end creature.
When to check back
The Codes page's edit history and the naming of the expired codes together give a usable cadence. The volume is roughly two to five codes a year, not weekly. Two of those triggers are worth watching. The Roblox Innovation Awards produced a code in both January 2025 and January 2026, which is the closest thing to an annual fixture. And COSBILLION marked a visit milestone: the game currently sits at roughly 2.2 billion visits, so three billion is the next round number that has historically justified a code. Neither is a promise, and the developers have published no code schedule.
