Creatures of Sonaria Tier List: All 481 Ranked by Stats

Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Creatures of Sonaria

This Creatures of Sonaria tier list ranks all 481 released creatures from the game's own stat table, the 4 September 2026 revision, and prints the numbers that produced each placement. Jabblebashhe tops it at 62.3 out of 100, ahead of Kavouradis and Lush Kavouradis at 57.6 and Abyssal Geortharoc and Geortharoc at 56.8, and the S band holds 42 creatures.

Every other tier list for this game grades a few dozen popular creatures SS to C without citing a single stat field. This one is arithmetic you can check and, if you disagree with the weighting, redo.

How the bands are computed

The game publishes 51 fields for each of its 481 creatures, with no missing values. Three of them decide a straight fight, so those are the three this page weights.

FieldWeightWhy
Bite damage per second45%damage divided by biteCooldown. Raw damage alone rewards slow biters, so it is the wrong number to rank on
Health35%How long you survive the exchange. Range 500 to 17,000, median 3,750
Sprint speed20%Decides whether a fight happens at all. Range 50 to 205, median 94

Each field is divided by the highest value any creature reaches in it, so a score is a percentage of the game's ceiling. The bands are fixed cut-offs on that score, which is why they are uneven: S is 45 and above, A is 38 to 44.9, B is 30 to 37.9, C is 22 to 29.9, D is below 22. Scores run from 62.3 down to 13.2, computed from the stat table, 4 September 2026 revision.

That weighting is a choice, and it is stated so you can reject it. Weight sprint speed at 60 per cent instead and the top of the list changes completely, as the re-ranking section shows.

The other 22 S-band creatures, from 48.4 down to 45.0: Skulderouge, Caldonterrus, Origin Caldonterrus, Sigmatox, Battle Kendyll, Kohikii, Hygos, Magnacetus, Auraron, Polymonstrum, Buff Eulopii, Arsonos, Golgaroth, Gimon-Ogu, Arrainoa, Syroudon, Aleicuda, Takamorath, Empiterium, Kretapex, Morthorax and Hisolidium.

Arachyu and Hygos both carry 650 damage, the highest in the game, and neither leads the list, because a 1.2 to 1.3 second bite cooldown drags their sustained output below Jabblebashhe's. Archinax is Tier 3 with 2,500 health, the lowest in S, carried entirely by 625.0 damage per second.

Luxsces is the argument for ranking on damage per second rather than damage. Its bite lands for 150, below the game's median of 200, but on a 0.35 second cooldown, which is 428.6 per second and A band. Bengon is the opposite shape: Tier 2, 225 damage, and the seventh fastest sprint in the game.

Tier is size, not power

The official wiki states that tiers exist mainly to distinguish different-sized creatures, which is "sometimes proportional" to damage and health. The data agrees with the hedge rather than the headline.

TierSizeCountMedian scoreLowestHighestMedian damage
1Tiny5024.913.236.877.5

4Large13135.119.451.7260
5Enormous10038.922.662.3300

The medians climb with size, so tier is not meaningless. The overlap is what matters: the best Tier 2 creature, Arrainoa at 46.4, outscores 79 of the 100 Tier 5 creatures, and the worst Tier 5 scores 22.6, below the Tier 3 median. Raw damage shows the same overlap, with Whispthera at Tier 4 matching the game's 650 ceiling against a Tier 5 median of 300. Full size-class breakdown on tiers.

The seven Tier 5 creatures in the C band are mostly Wardens: Eigion Warden at 29.8, Hellion Warden at 27.1, Ardor Warden at 24.4, Novus Warden at 22.6, with damage values from 30 to 100. They are built around resistances and area control, which a damage-weighted score is close to blind to. See abilities.

Where this ranking disagrees with published tier lists

The existing lists are editorial. PocketGamer's, by Mihail Katsoris and updated 7 September 2026, grades roughly 300 creatures SS to C on what it calls their highest potential, and the author states it is for guidance only and that a well-grown C-tier creature can be as effective as an S-tier one. It cites none of the 51 fields. The tier list at creatures-of-sonaria.wiki reproduces PocketGamer's ordering verbatim through its top two grades, 33 names in SS and 75 in S, differing only by one creature added on 7 September, so those two pages are one source rather than two.

Here is where the two approaches part, using four placements published against named creatures.

MegalodystrixA29.5C25042507450 min
MordeliumB23.1C12026009925 min

Turrim is the interesting one. It has the longest growth time in the game at 150 minutes, and its 1.3 second bite cooldown pulls 300 damage down to 230.8 per second. A list ranking on ceiling puts it top; a list ranking on printed combat numbers puts it 123rd. Both answer real questions, and only one shows its working.

Gobli is sharper. It appears in PocketGamer's top two grades and scores 21.8 here, in the D band, on 65 damage and 2,600 health. Its 10 minute growth time and 109 sprint speed are real advantages this weighting does not price.

Re-rank it yourself

The weighting is the whole argument, so here is what happens when it changes. Reweighted to 60 per cent sprint speed, 20 per cent damage per second and 20 per cent health, the top of the list is unrecognisable.

Nimoona is Tier 1 and the fastest sprinter in the game at 205. Under the combat weighting it ranks 136th; under a chase weighting it ranks first. Pick the weighting that matches how you play, and see fastest, tankiest and strongest for the single-field rankings.

What this method cannot see

Being clear about the limits is part of the method.

  • Abilities are not in the score. Grab appears on 89 creatures and Invisibility on 42, and Block values are percentage resistances that can go negative, meaning extra vulnerability.
  • Hitbox and handling are not fields. A large creature that is easy to hit and a small one that is not score the same way. The table has turn, where lower is faster, and nothing for how a creature steers.
  • Cost is visible but unranked. Median S-band growth time is 72.5 minutes against 36 for all 481. See growth.
  • Damage2 exists. Some creatures carry a second damage value; this score uses the primary bite only.
  • Trading values are out of scope. They live in private marketplace data we cannot verify, so this site does not publish them.

Full field dumps are on the creatures index, and side-by-side comparison on compare stats.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best creature in Creatures of Sonaria?

On the weighting used here, Jabblebashhe scores highest of all 481 creatures, at 62.3. It deals 500 damage on a 0.6 second bite cooldown, which works out to 833.3 damage per second, the highest sustained bite figure in the stat table. Kavouradis and Lush Kavouradis follow at 57.6, and Abyssal Geortharoc and Geortharoc at 56.8 on the strength of 17,000 health, the highest in the game.

Is Tier 5 the strongest tier in Creatures of Sonaria?

No. Tier is a size class, not a power ranking, and the official wiki says size is only sometimes proportional to damage and health. Tier 5 has the highest median score at 38.9, but its weakest member scores 22.6 while a Tier 2 creature, Arrainoa, reaches 46.4. Seven Tier 5 creatures land in the C band on this page.

How is this tier list calculated?

Each creature is scored on three fields from the game's stat table, 4 September 2026 revision: bite damage per second at 45 per cent, health at 35 per cent, and sprint speed at 20 per cent. Each field is divided by the highest value any creature reaches in that field, so the score is a percentage of the game's ceiling. The bands are fixed cut-offs on that score, not a fixed number of creatures per band.

Why does this tier list disagree with PocketGamer's?

Because they measure different things. PocketGamer's list is an editorial judgement of highest potential and cites none of the 51 stat fields, and its author states it is for guidance only. This page ranks on printed numbers, so a control-oriented creature such as Angelic Warden, with 65 damage, falls to the D band here regardless of how it performs in a fight.

Does a high tier list placement mean a creature is easy to use?

No, and the stat table cannot answer that question. Hitbox size, ability interactions, turning feel and how a creature handles in a crowd are not fields in the data. Growth cost is visible, though: the median growth time across the S band is 72.5 minutes against 36 minutes for all 481 creatures.

Does this site cover creature trading values?

No. Accurate valuation lives inside two trading platforms' private marketplace data, which we cannot source or verify, so any figure published here would be a guess dressed as data. Every ranking on this site is limited to fields that appear in the game's own stat table.
