Kelvaris Creatures of Sonaria: Full Stats and Rankings
Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Creatures of Sonaria
Kelvaris is a Tier 5 Omnivore of the Terrestrial type, added to Creatures of Sonaria on 7 August 2026 as a Paradise Special, with 8,750 health, 230 damage and a 70 minute growth time. The single most unusual thing about it is not any of those numbers: it is the only creature among all 481 in the game's stat table that carries the passive Defensive Urchin Sickness.
Every figure here is read from the game's own creature data module, the 4 September 2026 revision, holding 481 released creatures with 51 fields each and no missing values. That date is what makes the rankings below checkable, and what will eventually date them.
The outlier: two abilities almost nothing else has
Kelvaris runs two activated abilities, Harden and Reflux, and fourteen passives. Three things about that set are unusual across the roster.
| Ability | Type | Creatures carrying it, out of 481 |
|---|---|---|
| Defensive Urchin Sickness (2.5) | Passive | 1 |
| Reflux | Activated | 3 |
| Defensive Disease (5) | Passive | 28, and 5 is the joint highest value |
| Unbreakable (16) | Passive | 21 |
| Harden | Activated | 27 |
| Climber | Passive | 113 |
| Iron Stomach | Passive | 119 |
| Agile Swimmer (75) | Passive | 138 |
Defensive Urchin Sickness appears exactly once in the data set, on Kelvaris. Reflux appears three times, on Gholbini, Venuella and Kelvaris, and Kelvaris is the only creature whose activated pair is exactly Harden plus Reflux. Its Defensive Disease value of 5 ties Ushrumesh for the highest in the game.
The community wiki's editors define the status vocabulary in three parts. A passive named "X Attack" applies status X with your bite; "Defensive X" reflects X back at whatever bit you; "Block X" is a percentage resistance to X. Kelvaris has four Defensive passives and zero Attack passives. For scale, Bleed Attack sits on 194 creatures, Injury Attack on 114 and Poison Attack on 79. Kelvaris has none, so all of its offence is the flat 230 bite and everything else in the kit punishes whatever attacks it.
What the data does not say is what Urchin Sickness does, how long Harden lasts, or what Reflux costs. Those numbers are not in the module and are not invented here.
Full stat block, with roster context
Every row is a real field from the data module. The two right-hand columns are the comparison the tier lists never print.

Read down the right-hand column and a shape appears: top tenth of the roster on health, weight, appetite and growth cost, bottom fifth on sprint speed and stamina. That is the standard Tier 5 trade: size and defence, paid for in speed and agility.
Against its own tier, it is not a hitter
This is where a size band gets mistaken for a power ranking. Compared with the other 99 Tier 5 creatures:
| Field | Kelvaris | Tier 5 median | Tier 5 range | Rank in Tier 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Damage | 230 | 300 | 30 to 650 | 67th of 100 |
| Health | 8,750 | 8,000 | 3,500 to 17,000 | 37th of 100 |
| Weight | 9,750 | 10,000 | 2,850 to 50,000 | 53rd of 100 |
| Sprint speed | 73 | 69 | 50 to 124 | 27th of 100 |
| Stamina | 80 | 80 | 50 to 175 | 44th of 100 |
| Turn | 5 | 5 | 3 to 7 | At the median |
| Growth time | 70 min | 70 min | 1.67 to 150 min | At the median |
| Appetite | 150 | 100 | 55 to 250 | 21st of 100 |
| Oxygen (s) | 150 | 25 | 25 to 2,400 | 11th of 82 with a value |
Sixty-six Tier 5 creatures deal more damage than Kelvaris. More telling for anyone who reads Tier 5 as "strongest": 129 creatures below Tier 5 out-damage it, being 83 Tier 4, 41 Tier 3 and 5 Tier 2 creatures. Health runs the other way. Only two creatures outside Tier 5 out-heal Kelvaris: Chamei at 13,500 and Militrua at 9,000, both Tier 4.
The honest summary is a durable Tier 5 with a below-median bite, not a Tier 5 bruiser. See tiers for why size and strength come apart across the roster, and the tier list for how computed rankings compare with the published subjective ones.
Same tier, same diet: the ten Tier 5 Omnivores
Omnivore is the third most common diet at 59 creatures, but only ten are Tier 5 and only four of those Terrestrial: a genuinely narrow peer group.
| Creature | Type | Health | Damage | Bite CD | Sprint | Stamina | Turn | Weight | Growth | Appetite |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yggdragstyx | Terrestrial | 13,000 | 200 | 1.0 | 66 | 120 | 6 | 17,500 | 75 min | 165 |
| Opralegion | Flier | 10,500 | 175 | 1.4 | 124 | 128 | 6 | 11,250 | 80 min | 140 |
| Vorpalus | Terrestrial | 8,800 | 300 | 1.2 | 74 | 80 | 5 | 6,500 | 60 min | 75 |
| Kelvaris | Terrestrial | 8,750 | 230 | 1.0 | 73 | 80 | 5 | 9,750 | 70 min | 150 |
| Novus Warden | Flier | 7,000 | 30 | 1.0 | 67 | 80 | 3 | 5,250 | 70 min | 90 |
| Phantejer | Glider | 7,000 | 260 | 1.1 | 73 | 85 | 5 | 3,350 | 55 min | 65 |
| Xeleviprex | Flier | 6,500 | 230 | 1.2 | 66 | 85 | 4 | 5,800 | 66 min | 80 |
| Ardor Warden | Terrestrial | 6,000 | 100 | 1.1 | 73 | 80 | 5 | 7,100 | 70 min | 80 |
| Follugila | Flier | 5,800 | 280 | 1.0 | 68 | 85 | 4 | 5,200 | 60 min | 85 |
| Guardian Dragon | Flier | 4,150 | 280 | 1.0 | 73 | 100 | 5 | 4,600 | 60 min | 90 |
Vorpalus is the direct rival: near-identical health at 8,800, but 300 damage against Kelvaris's 230, a 60 minute growth time against 70, and half the appetite at 75. On published fields alone it is the cheaper, harder-hitting Tier 5 Terrestrial Omnivore. Kelvaris answers with a faster bite cycle at 1.0 seconds against 1.2, a far larger oxygen reserve, and a defensive kit with no equivalent anywhere. Yggdragstyx is the other pole: more health, far more weight, more stamina, and a worse turn at 6. Against all 54 Tier 5 Terrestrials, Kelvaris ranks 14th on sprint speed and 25th on health, but 41st on damage.
The land creature that holds its breath
The oxygen field is Kelvaris's second anomaly. Across the 220 Terrestrial creatures the median oxygen time is 25 seconds. Kelvaris has 150, behind only Gloracus at 1,200 and Kragnyx at 1,000, with Lithumbra tied at 150. Among the 54 Tier 5 Terrestrials it is second.
It also carries Agile Swimmer (75), which only 29 of the 220 Terrestrial creatures have, and Climber. A land creature with a swim bonus, a climb passive and a six-times-median breath hold is a design choice the data makes visible and the subjective tier lists have never mentioned. Whether it translates into anything useful on the map, the table cannot say: spawn locations and water depth are not fields in it.
Resistances, including one that is a weakness
Six Block values are published for Kelvaris. Block is a percentage resistance, and the community wiki's editors are explicit that a negative Block value means extra vulnerability.
| Status | Kelvaris Block value | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Poison | 0.70 | Strong. 43rd best of the 223 creatures with the field, median 0.40 |
| Bleed | 0.40 | Moderate |
| Burn | 0.40 | Moderate |
| Disease | 0.35 | Weak resistance |
| Injury | 0.35 | Weak resistance |
| Frostbite | -0.25 | Extra vulnerability, not resistance |
Sixty-six of the 481 creatures carry at least one negative Block value, and only ten a negative frostbite value. Paired with the four Defensive passives, the pattern is a creature meant to be bitten and to punish being bitten, with one deliberate hole in the wall. Its Unbreakable value of 16 ranks 16th of the 21 creatures carrying Unbreakable, where the median is 25.
Growth, upkeep and what we will not print
The growthTime field reads 70 minutes to Full Grown, exactly the Tier 5 median and longer than 88 per cent of the roster. Appetite is 150, above 94 per cent of all creatures, so upkeep matches size. The documented stage sequence is Teen, Adult, Full Grown, Full Elder, then Elder, Sage, Master and Venerated.
We are not printing minute values for those stages. The first four ratios are documented, but the later phases were derived from one creature's rendered infobox, and multiplying them out for Kelvaris would be arithmetic presented as data. Read them from its own infobox on the community wiki instead.
Two other things this page will not do. It will not tell you what Kelvaris is worth: this site does not cover trading values at all, because accurate valuation sits inside two trading platforms' private marketplace data we cannot source, and an unsourced price reads as authority it has not earned. Nor will it describe how Kelvaris feels to play, which is in no table we can check.
Where the subjective lists put it
PocketGamer's tier list, credited to Mihail Katsoris and updated on 7 September 2026, does not include Kelvaris at all. The creature was added on 7 August 2026, and that list, which most other Sonaria tier lists trace back to, is an editorial SS to C ranking citing none of the 51 published stat fields. An absence from it is not evidence about Kelvaris either way.
For lore, model, appearance and event context the official community wiki is the right destination, and we are not trying to replace it: 1,697 articles, 157 active editors, 58,319 images, updated hourly. What it lacks, because it runs one page per creature, is the cross-creature layer this page is made of.
Compare Kelvaris against any other creature on compare stats, browse the roster on all creatures, or see the same treatment applied to Capukoralu and Angelic Warden, the Tier 4 Warden whose 65 damage is the cleanest proof in the game that tier is size and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions
What tier is Kelvaris in Creatures of Sonaria?
Kelvaris is Tier 5, which the game names Enormous. Tier is a size band, not a power ranking: the Tier 5 damage median is 300 and Kelvaris deals 230, so 66 other Tier 5 creatures hit harder than it does. Its Tier 5 status tells you how large its body is and what it costs to store, not how strong it is.
Is Kelvaris good?
The stat table can answer half of that. Kelvaris has 8,750 health, above the Tier 5 median of 8,000, and 230 damage, below the Tier 5 median of 300, so on published numbers it is a durable creature rather than a hitter. What the table cannot tell you is hitbox size, how the bite lands, or how Harden and Reflux interact in a fight, and no source we trust publishes those.
What abilities does Kelvaris have?
Two activated abilities, Harden and Reflux, and fourteen passives. It is the only creature of the 481 in the stat table carrying Defensive Urchin Sickness, and one of only three carrying Reflux. It has no Attack passives at all, so it applies no bleed, poison or injury on its own bite.
Is Kelvaris weak to frostbite?
Yes, by the data. Its Block Frostbite value is -0.25, and the community wiki's own editors state that a negative Block value means extra vulnerability rather than resistance. Only ten of the 481 creatures carry a negative frostbite value. Kelvaris does resist poison well by comparison, at Block Poison 0.70 against a roster median of 0.40.
How long does Kelvaris take to grow?
Its growthTime field reads 70 minutes to Full Grown, which is exactly the Tier 5 median and longer than 88 per cent of the roster. The stage sequence runs Teen, Adult, Full Grown, Full Elder, then the later Elder, Sage, Master and Venerated phases. This page does not print minute values for the later stages, because those have to be read from the creature's own infobox rather than multiplied out.
What is Kelvaris worth in trading?
This site does not cover trading values, for Kelvaris or for anything else. Accurate valuation lives in the private marketplace data of two trading platforms, which we cannot source or verify, so any number we printed would be a guess dressed as a fact. Its in-game stored price of 900 Shooms is a published field and is set by tier, not by demand.
